Job Description

We have a brand new opportunity for an experience Data Analyst to join a leading Software Company. As the Data Analyst you will be monitoring, investigating and interpreting large scale structured and unstructured data whilst, providing business information using file management and data analysis tools.

As a Data Analyst you will be responsible for:

  • Monitor data feeds
  • Identify data technical and quality issues
  • Identify and manage duplication's or corrupted data
  • Performing initial analysis to assess the quality of the data
  • Performing further analysis to determine the meaning of the data
  • Manage and resolve data issues
  • Liaise with external data providers to resolve issues
  • Work with customers to interpret business needs
  • Develop report specification and associated testing requirements

We would love to hear from you, if you have the following skills and experience: 

  • SQL at basic to intermediate level
  • MS Office, especially using Excel for statistical analysis and presentation
  • Experience with File management tools and standard data formats
  • Knowledge of computing and software design and development
  • Good English spoken and written communication skills

In return, you will be offered the opportunity to work with a leading company, within a great team and flexible working.  Working hours will be 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.  The role is currently a home based, remote working role however there is scope for this to become a hybrid working role when local restrictions are lifted.
