In the Data Controller job, you will be:
  • Working within the Purchasing Department, supporting with managing and delivering current and future stocks using specific software
  • Importing all data onto systems 
  • Checking and matching delivery notes by reference to internal information
  • Monitoring stock sheets, costings and producing reports daily using SAGE
  • Overseeing all stock reconciliations and placing stock purchase orders on a weekly basis
  • Contact site managers and or suppliers if there are any discrepancies between the purchase order and the goods actually received 
  • Ensuring all new stock items are updated onto site stock sheets
  • Overseeing month end, stock valuations, weekly stock posting and monthly stock reconciliations Preparing bills of material and credit requests as and when required
  • Responsible for the information recorded by logistics and purchasing controllers
To be considered for the Data Controller, job you must have:
  • Proven operational, purchasing and business administration experience 
  • Evidence of high levels of accuracy, literacy, numeracy and comprehension
  • Strong IT skills and experience including stock and financial systems such as SAGE
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal communication skills 
  • Self-motivation and ability to take initiative when needed
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines
This is a full time, permanent role working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. This role is on an annual salary of £21,000 per annum (depending on skills and experience) plus company benefits. The role will be based at their offices in Rhyl.
