We have a great opportunity for an experienced Customer Service Team Leader to join a well-established company where you will be managing a friendly team of Advisors ensuring the highest levels of customer service are always met.

In the Customer Service Team Leader job, you will be: 

  • Providing leadership and support to the Customer Service Advisors team when delivering services to customers
  • Ensuring that performance meets the standards and performance indicators agreed for quality and efficiency
  • Providing a point of escalation for complex enquiries that are dealt with by the Customer Service Advisors
  • Providing support and exemplary customer care to customers contacting the company via telephone, letter, e-mail, and through face-to-face meetings
  • Ensuring team members work closely to support each other and other teams, to deliver an effective service in relation to repairs, planned maintenance, gas servicing and grounds maintenance

To be considered for the Customer Service Team Leader job must have:

  • Extensive experience of working in a customer contact centre environment or equivalent, with experience of effectively working with diverse customer groups
  • Proven experience of leading a team, motivating, coaching and developing staff to achieve performance targets and maintain a high level of service delivery
  • Previous experience in a similar role including performance management and HR processes
  • Proven experience of using databases to retrieve, input and provide information 
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to speak fluent Welsh or hold basic conversations in Welsh due to the nature of the business
  • Good IT and keyboard skills with experience of using Windows based applications
  • A strong enthusiastic leader with commitment to continuous improvement of service delivery
  • Highly motivated with a commitment to the development of the customer service and performance targets

This is a temporary, full time (35 hours per week, Monday to Friday) position with an ASAP start on a week-by-week basis but expected to be up to 12 months. 
The hourly rate is £17.33 per hour plus holiday pay. The role will be working from home but will be required to travel to offices near Llandudno as and when required.
