Job Description

A fast-paced manufacturing operation based near Bangor, North Wales is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join its team. Working 39 hours per week, on day shifts with an early finish on a Friday, this is a hands on role providing day to day facilities maintenance service that enables the business to continue working without disruption.

As a Facilities Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities will include: 

  • Electrical fault finding on DC/AC systems.
  • Electrical installation of all types.
  • Test mechanical equipment to troubleshoot known or suspected problems.
    Planned maintenance and inspections on Electrical / Mechanical equipment to a high standard.
  • Responding to breakdowns of equipment.
  • Disassemble mechanical equipment noting parts identification, configuration and condition.

 We would be keen to speak to Facilities Maintenance Engineers with the following skills and experience: 

  • Experienced of providing maintenance / facilities / handyman repair work in a fast paced environment 
  • Qualified with 17th edition or equivalent with experience of fault finding on Electrical, Mechanical, Motors, PLCs, and Pneumatics etc. 
  • Follow company health and safety procedures, including working practices, PPE, general equipment maintenance
  • Take ownership of all delegated tasks and be a proactive and self-motivated worker.
  • Comfortable with working at heights when required 
  • Confident and capable use of hand and electrical tools
