Job Description

Are you an experienced Quality Manager with experience in the Aerospace or Defence industry? Are you looking for a new challenge in a thriving manufacturing environment?  A manufacturing specialist are looking to recruit a Quality Assurance Manager to join their team based in North Wales.   You will be joining a dedicated team that works with Hybrid electric aircraft programs within global manufacturers to improve aircraft efficiency.

As a Quality Assurance Manager, your job will be to:

  • Develop and manage quality assurance metrics for performance improvement of all teams
  • Develop or specify standards, methods, or procedures to determine product quality or release readiness
  • Develop and manage practices to ensure quality throughout all phases of development including requirements, design, and right through into production
  • Evaluate and enhance QA standards, technologies and approaches
  • Identify deviance from standards, and suggest modifications to ensure compliance

To be a successful Quality Assurance Manager, you will have:

  • Ability to develop, document and implement a QA management strategy
  • Strategic influencing skills including the ability to promote continuous improvements in QA processes at all levels and across all areas of the organisation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to understand and critique requirements
  • Excellent communications skills including the ability to prepare and present reports to a range of audiences
  • Supplier quality assurance processes
  • Inspection techniques, physical testing, and measurement principles
  • AS9100 standards and regulations
  • EASA part 21j and part 21g

This is a full time position, working 08:00–17:00, Mon–Thurs, with an early finish on a Friday (08:00 – 12:00).   In return, the Quality Assurance Manager will receive a competitive salary, contributory pension scheme and 22.5 days holiday per year.
