Job Description

We are working exclusively with a rapidly growing company who are looking for a Full Stack Magento Developer  to support and develop their expanding eCommerce business.  This role can be undertaken on a remote basis, however site visits to their Head office based in Gwynedd, North Wales would be necessary once per week.  

As the Full Stack Magento Developer you will be responsible for:

  • Working with the tools team on new projects from initial interaction during the discovery phase through to implementation and deployment of the completed project
  • Leading the technical direction during the design and development process
  • Providing insight and communication with internal and external stakeholders demonstrating how Magento and Microsoft dynamics are used to meet the needs of the business
  • Engineering leading-edge systems, with solutions targeting a variety of customer models including B2B and B2C
  • Providing technical oversight to the operations team in order for them to complete day to day tasks successfully
  • Performing code reviews according to the client’s process standards and technical requirements
  • Working with cross-functional teams to resolve site issues that relate to website architecture

We would be interested in speaking to candidates who have skills and experience in the following:

  • Proven experience with the eCommerce development process  
  • The ability to come up with accurate development estimates based on high-level business and/or technical requirements
  • Able to lead and mentor teams of engineers working on eCommerce solutions
  • Experience in PHP building object-oriented websites
  • Experience with Magento
  • A keen interest in emerging technologies and how they might impact future design decisions and strategic directions
  • Demonstrable experience with MySQL database systems
  • The ability to use PHP to create and consume web services (SOAP, XML-RPC) and/or other experience
  • Strong knowledge of: Linux, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, AWS, and an understanding of Dynamics 365 and Azure AD
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

In return you will receive a salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum depending on experience, or £25 per hour for contract rates for 6 months. 

This role would be commutable from, Pwllheli, Blaenau Ffestiniog, Porthmadog, Caernarfon, Bangor parts of Anglesey or Conwy.  Successful applicants would need a full UK licence and own vehicle.
